Two Go Kart Options

At the Turbo Track, we offer two types of go-karts to cater to different thrill-seekers. The Turbo car, designed for a single driver, has a minimum height requirement of 58 inches. For those who prefer a co-pilot on their adventure, the Sidewinder, our two-seat go-kart, requires a minimum driver height of 60 inches and a minimum passenger height of 40 inches.

Turbo Track

RULES:

  • Drivers must be at least 58 inches tall.
  • Driver of double go-kart carrying a passenger must be at least 60 inches tall or 58 inches tall with a valid driver’s license.
  • Passengers must be at least 40 inches tall. Double Kart- Adults can ride together as long as kart weight limits are not exceeded. (500 lbs)
  • No loose clothing or articles permitted and if any clothing or articles becomes loose or unsecured during the ride, safely pull over and raise your hand to alert the attendant. Hair/Extensions/Headdress longer than shoulder length must be tied up above the shoulder at all times while racing. If your hair/extensions or head dress becomes loose during the race, safely pull over and raise your hand to alert the attendant. Stopping on the track is not permitted for any other reason.
  • There is no bumping of other karts or track railing, no reckless driving.
  • Drivers and passengers must wear seat belts and remain seated at all time. Drivers and passengers must keep hands and feet inside the kart at all times. Do not reach for anything outside the kart.
  • If a problem should develop, remain seated in your kart and raise your hand for assistance.
  • Do not exit your kart or unbuckle your seat belt until instructed to do so by an attendant.
  • To drive, press the gas pedal on the right
  • To stop, press the brake pedal on the left.
  • No smoking, eating, or drinking allowed in the track area.
  • Shoes and shirts are required.
  • Riders must obey all track attendants’ instructions. Boomers Parks is not responsible for the actions of other drivers who fail to obey the track rules and cause injury or damage to others. Failure to obey rules or instructions will result in removal from the track without a refund.
  • No music or video recording devices, earphones, or head, earphones, or headsets allowed.
  • Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol is not allowed in the track area.
  • Expectant mothers or guests with a history of back, neck, joint, and muscle or health problems should not ride and do so at your own risk of injury. Guests wearing casts are not permitted do drive.
  • Line jumping or line position saving is forbidden and will result in placement at rear of line. Multiple offenses will result in the removal from the attraction for the remainder of the day.
  • Remain seated at the end of the race until you are instructed to exit by an attendant.

CAUTION: Certain rides and attractions have an inherent risk of potential injury. Thunder Road Go Karts is an outdoor participatory activity.

Failure to follow the posted rules can result in sudden changes of speed and direction as well as injuries to yourself and others. Drivers are responsible for damage to property and injury to other riders. Boomers Parks is not responsible for the actions of others or injuries resulting from insect sting/bites or animal/reptile bites. Boomers is not responsible for property that is dropped or misplaced in go karts or on the track. Participate at your own risk.
